I was behind a car with one of those fish "Jesus Saves" on it when I thought up this.

Every day when I eat lunch I like to look out the window. I like to look out at the big, glorious world and think of all the wonderous variety and number of people out there in the world, several of whom I have absolutely no desire to punch in the head.

I dreamed the other night

I was walking on the beach with God.

I looked back, and in places, I saw only one set of footprints.

"That's because the tide's coming in, you idiot," God said "and now you've got wet shoes."

It's come to our attention that some of you out there have declared a 'Day Without Cats' on your 'Internet' today. Know this, foolish humans, we are watching. We are taking names. This morning's local paper carried this story: http://www.kaiserhealthnews.org/Stories/2009/September/01/Doctor-House-and-health-costs.aspx under the title "How 'House' hurts health care debate". Yeah, that's what's wrong with health care; too many people watching "House". I guess maybe though -- after all, we based how we treat detainees based on "24".

Actually, I think "House" *can*, in fact, offer some medical advice. If you're getting your conception of health care from TV, as Dr. House would say: "You're an idiot."

 

P.S. If any writers from "House" come across this post, protip: hallucinations will never be a symptom of undiagnosed Parkinson's Disease. Hallucinations usually are either caused by the medication for PD or you're so far along Captian Obvious could diagnose you had PD. Take it from a guy who's seen it in family members twice.
